PSI Hydraulics (“PSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how PSI collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, submit an inquiry, upload a file, comment on a blog post, apply for employment, or otherwise interact with us online.

This Policy applies to information collected through PSI’s website and associated online forms and features. It does not replace a separate privacy notice or agreement that may apply to a specific relationship or service.

Information You Provide

Depending on how you interact with PSI, we may collect:

  • Job title;

  • Email address;

  • Telephone number;

  • Mailing or service address;

  • Information about equipment, systems, projects, products, or services;

  • Messages and other information included in an inquiry;

  • Drawings, photographs, specifications, documents, and other uploaded files;

  • Blog comments, display names, and related submission information;

  • Communication preferences;

  • Records of communications with PSI; and

  • Other information you voluntarily provide.

Employment-Application Information

If you apply for employment, we may collect:

  • Contact information;

  • Résumé or curriculum vitae;

  • Employment and education history;

  • Professional qualifications, skills, licenses, and certifications;

  • References;

  • Position preferences and availability;

  • Responses to application questions;

  • Information concerning work authorization; and

  • Other information relevant to evaluating your application.

Please do not submit a Social Security number, bank information, medical information, or identity document through a general application form unless PSI specifically requests it through an appropriate process.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Website, PSI and its service providers may automatically collect information such as:

  • Internet Protocol address;

  • Browser and device type;

  • Operating system;

  • Device identifiers;

  • Referring and exit pages;

  • Pages viewed and links selected;

  • Date, time, and duration of visits;

  • Approximate geographic location derived from an IP address;

  • Cookie and advertising identifiers;

  • Form and Website interactions;

  • Conversion events; and

  • Diagnostic, performance, and security information.

This information may be collected using cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, and similar technologies.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from advertising platforms, analytics providers, social-media platforms, referral sources, public records, business partners, or people who refer a prospective customer or applicant to PSI.

 

2. How We Use Information

PSI may use personal information to:

  • Prepare quotations and discuss requested products or services;

  • Review drawings, photographs, and other project materials;

  • Communicate about a request, order, project, application, or business relationship;

  • Provide and improve products, services, and Website functionality;

  • Publish and moderate blog comments;

  • Measure Website use, traffic, performance, and campaign effectiveness;

  • Attribute inquiries or conversions to advertising campaigns;

  • Diagnose technical problems and protect the Website;

Submitting a form authorizes PSI to respond concerning that request. PSI will not use the submission to enroll you in unrelated promotional email or text-message marketing unless you separately consent.

 

3. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Embedded Content

PSI uses or plans to use the following technologies and services:

  • Wix and Wix Analytics;

  • Google Analytics 4;

  • Google Tag Manager;

  • Google Ads conversion tracking;

  • Meta Pixel;

  • Google Maps; and

  • Embedded YouTube videos.

These services may process device, browser, usage, cookie, advertising-identifier, approximate-location, and interaction information. Google explains that a browser may send information such as the visited page URL and IP address when a website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads, Maps, or YouTube. Meta may receive information through Meta Pixel when that technology is permitted to operate.

PSI uses these technologies to operate and secure the Website, understand Website use, measure advertising results, and determine whether an advertisement led to an inquiry or other conversion.

PSI does not currently use Website information to create PSI remarketing audiences or send promotional communications without separate consent. However, Google, Meta, Wix, and other providers may process information under their own policies and account settings.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires PSI to identify a legal basis, PSI may process personal information based on:

  • Your consent, including consent to nonessential cookies;

  • Steps requested before entering a contract, such as responding to a request for a quotation;

  • Performance of a contract, such as communicating about an accepted order;

  • PSI’s legitimate interests, including operating the Website, responding to business inquiries, protecting security, maintaining records, and improving services;

  • Compliance with legal obligations; and

  • Protection of legal rights and safety.

You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal or processing supported by another lawful basis.

 

5. How We Disclose Information

PSI may disclose personal information to:

Website and Technology Providers

Wix and other hosting, form, security, storage, and technology providers may process information to operate and protect the Website.

Analytics and Advertising Providers

Google, Meta, and related providers may receive information through analytics tools, conversion tags, pixels, cookies, and similar technologies when permitted by applicable settings and consent choices.

Contractors, Suppliers, and Business Service Providers

PSI may provide information to contractors, manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, shipping providers, professional advisers, software providers, and other service providers when reasonably necessary to evaluate or fulfill a request or operate PSI’s business.

Legal and Safety Recipients

PSI may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; enforce an agreement; investigate suspected misconduct; or protect the rights, property, or safety of PSI or another person.

Business-Transaction Recipients

Information may be disclosed as part of a proposed or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or other business transaction.

Public Blog Visitors

Information included in a public blog comment—including the display name and comment content—may be visible to anyone who visits the applicable page.

 

6. Sale, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising

PSI does not sell personal information for money.

Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly enough to include certain disclosures through advertising cookies, pixels, or conversion-measurement technologies, even when no money is exchanged.

PSI currently uses Google Ads conversion tracking and Meta Pixel for campaign and conversion measurement and does not currently use Website information to create PSI remarketing audiences. Where required, visitors may decline advertising and analytics technologies through the Website’s cookie-consent controls.

7. Data Retention

PSI retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Responding to inquiries and maintaining business records;

  • Preparing and administering quotations, orders, and services;

  • Considering candidates for current or reasonably anticipated employment opportunities;

  • Maintaining public comments while related content remains published;

  • Complying with tax, accounting, employment, legal, warranty, and recordkeeping requirements;

  • Resolving disputes and enforcing agreements; and

  • Protecting security and preventing fraud.

Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the relationship involved, legal requirements, and PSI’s operational needs.

Analytics and advertising providers may retain information according to PSI’s account settings and their own retention policies. Information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

 

8. Data Security

PSI uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information it handles.

No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You provide information online at your own risk and should avoid submitting highly sensitive information through general Website forms.

If you believe information submitted to PSI has been compromised, contact PSI promptly.

 

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have the right to:

  • Confirm whether PSI processes your personal information;

  • Access or obtain a copy of personal information;

  • Correct inaccurate information;

  • Request deletion;

  • Obtain information in a portable format;

  • Restrict or object to certain processing;

  • Withdraw consent;

  • Opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling;

  • Appeal PSI’s denial of a privacy request; and

  • Exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination.

These rights may be subject to exceptions. For example, PSI may need to retain information to complete a transaction, comply with law, maintain records, establish or defend legal claims, protect security, or exercise another legal right.

PSI may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request when permitted by law, but PSI may require proof of authorization.

If PSI denies a request and applicable law provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to PSI’s decision or emailing the same address with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal.”

 

10. International Visitors and Data Transfers

PSI is located in the United States and may receive inquiries from other countries.

If you access the Website or submit information from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in the United States and other locations where PSI or its service providers operate. Those locations may have data-protection laws different from the laws in your country.

Where legally required, PSI and its service providers will rely on appropriate legal mechanisms for international transfers.

Submission of an international inquiry does not guarantee that PSI can sell, export, deliver, or provide products or services in the applicable country.

 

11. Children’s Privacy

The Website is intended for business customers, equipment owners, professionals, job applicants, and general adult audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and PSI does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact PSI so the information can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.

 

12. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Website may link to or embed third-party services, including Google Maps, YouTube, and social-media platforms.

Those third parties control their own privacy practices. PSI encourages visitors to review the relevant third-party privacy policies before interacting with those services.
